Further, the author mis-characterizes the argument proffered by Noon and then makes a miserable attempt to discredit it.   Fail.
There is no creditable (verifiable) evidence to suggest the existence of anthropogenic global warming  or as the position seems to be morphing to, &quot;Climate Change&quot;.  In fact the data not forged outright was so blatantly manipulated it has become the source of jokes in many scientific forums.  

Perhaps Ms. Tessier might profit from a further clarification of Noon&#039;s assertion:  Cap and Trade is direct government interference in the market.   Carbon Tax is an indirect (derivative) method of raising revenue. 

The fact is we live in the United States.  The Federal government has precious few methods of collecting tax and a Carbon Tax would be one of them.  I&#039;ll take a lawful (honest) excise tax  on carbon consumption ever before a direct tax on my property (income)
