As the editor of a newspaper that circulates in the same area as the Mountainview Telegraph, I would like to point out that there is indeed another way of doing business. I am not commenting on the Telegraph but on how we do things at The Independent. We do not use syndicated material or material written for or published in another newspaper. Everything on our editorial page is locally created and unique to our publication. We have no trouble filling at least one page, usually two pages, and often three or four pages with such opinion pieces. Wally Gordon.
