Is making fun of starving Haitian earthquake victims funny?
Apparently Argus Hamilton thinks so.
The syndicated humorist for the Albuquerque Journal is the host comedian at the legendary The Comedy Store in Hollywood. Seems like good credentials to me.
But I’ve often wondered what the Journal sees in the guy. The paper has run his hackneyed attempts at humor on A2 for many years now, and there have been many days when his lame jokes have caused me to shake my head. Politically incorrect doesn’t begin to describe his often inappropriate brand of “funny.”
But it was Hamilton’s item on Monday, March 15 that caused me to throw down my paper in disgust.
Naomi Campbell claimed she was heading to Haiti when she disappeared after assaulting her chauffeur. She meant well. She’s going to Haiti to counsel starving people on how they can make malnutrition work for them in the fashion industry.
Who laughs at this stuff? I sure don’t. Do you?
Am I wrong? Tell me what you think!
Argus Sux….I think he only exists in the ABQ comedy vaccum.
Have been to the Comedy Store a few times…..never seen Argus there…..just sayin…
Yeah, that’s kind of what I suspected, Nikki Sixx.
